Poetry Forge offers workshops and programming for poets and secret poets seeking serious engagement with the art form beyond the gates of academia.

Practice periods, manuscript incubators, and other gatherings take place online and in person year round.

Students who have been around for a while often join the Casual Union of Working Poets for continued fellowship, ongoing education, and the opportunity to share work with one another in a warm and supportive space.

Poetry Forge is a project of author, interdisciplinary artist, and award winning writing teacher, Holly Wren Spaulding, who is based in southern Maine.
